Schedule Flu ShotCommon Questions
Are vaccines safe for my child?
Yes. Vaccines undergo extensive testing before approval and continue to be monitored for safety. The benefits of vaccination far outweigh the risks. While mild side effects like soreness or low fever may occur, serious reactions are rare.
What if my child misses a vaccine?
It's never too late to catch up! Our pediatricians can create a catch-up schedule to get your child back on track. Contact us to review your child's immunization records and schedule any needed vaccines.
Can my child get multiple vaccines at once?
Yes, it's safe and effective to give multiple vaccines during the same visit. This approach is recommended by the CDC and AAP, and helps protect your child sooner while reducing the number of office visits needed.
How do I get my child's immunization records?
Contact our office and we can provide a copy of your child's immunization records. You can also access records through the California Immunization Registry (CAIR). Schools often require official documentation before enrollment.
